Ripley ITT is proud to be a Regional Delivery Lead for the National Society of Education’s Flourishing Early Career Teacher programme in partnership with the UCL Institute of Education.
The Flourishing ECT programme is a research-informed, carefully sequenced programme designed to support Early Career Teachers to develop strong classroom practice, professional confidence, and a sustainable approach to teaching. Drawing on high-quality educational research and evidence underpinned by UCL’s Early Careers Training Programme, the programme is delivered through the National Society of Education and places a strong emphasis on five key domains of flourishing: Purpose, Relationships, Learning, Wellbeing and Resources. As a Regional Delivery Lead, Ripley ITT works closely with the NSE ensure the programme is delivered with fidelity while remaining responsive to local context.
An overview of the programme, including its underpinning principles and structure, is available on the UCL website here and the National Society for Education’s website here. We encourage headteachers and induction tutors to review this information to gain a full understanding of the programme’s design and intent.
If you would like to discuss how the Flourishing ECTE programme could work in your school, or if you require further information about registration, delivery or partnership arrangements, please get in touch with us directly and we will support you in registering for the programme. If you need further information we would be very happy to talk through the programme and answer any questions you may have.
