At Ripley ITT, we believe every child deserves a teacher who can make a difference in their lives. Our aim, quite simply, is to train teachers to fulfil that role. We want our alumni to become the teachers that children remember for having a profound impact on their lives and futures.

We are an Initial Teacher Training provider based at Ripley St.Thomas CE Academy in Lancaster. The school has a long tradition of training teachers which dates back to the 1940s when the government requisitioned the buildings as an emergency teacher training college after the Second World War. Today, Ripley ITT continues that proud tradition with a modern, inspiring curriculum which develops the very best teachers to make a difference to children’s lives.
